I've just been for a filling at the dentist. We discussed not eating boiled sweets for a day or so, but the NHS apparently had no advice to offer on the subject of exposure to teeth-rattling bass....

Good to see a other Murakami fan onsite, can't do any wrong in my eyes, also the end of Kafka left me a bit disapponted.. Not sure about "Kafka", personally. I enjoyed it at the time...but it hasn't left the lasting impression that some of Murakami's other novels have, and "Wind-Up B...

Save Me Dub by Digital Mystikz...although the fact that it hasn't been mentioned already is making me wonder whether it's actually been released and I've just missed it. Anyway, cheers to Distance for playing it on his show a couple of weeks ago and reminding me just how great it is.

Massive respect and thanks to Deapoh and Boomnoise for all that hard work and effort. Don't let the ungrateful scrotes get you down; they're way outnumbered by the people who genuinely value and appreciate what you do...and who would support it financially if necessary.

Try the Omen EP on Tectonic. Really dark...but in a brooding, gloomy sorta way rather than an angry, nasty sorta way, if that makes sense. It's great, anyway.

Pre-ordered it from Boomkat a while ago and still haven't got it ! :( Likewise...but mine's just been sent at last and will hopefully arrive soon, so they're on the case. And, on the plus side, the wait has meant that I've had more time to appreciate the excellent Boxcutter CD...which I suspect mig...

I also recently heard a track in a distance set (i might be wrong could have been someone else) that had the "bludclott artattack" sample in it. Just listening to that now, coincidentally. It's about thirty-five minutes into Distance's show from 3rd April. Appears to be by Pinch, tune cal...

the first full interview with burial is on my blog now plus some sound clips of the album. That's an absolutely fascinating interview. Good to see Danny RSW is still treadin' the boards. The man was a true pioneer. Amen to that. Dunno whether I'd be here without RSW, to be honest. (That's not to say that RSW saved my life, just that they started a fascination with bass and dub and beats and all, when I was mainly listening to Big ...
