a slow or static frequency rate with high depth/feedback will give a metallic sound to bass. Automate the delay time for some mad effects Try putting the flanger on a separate bus & mixing with the original if it loses weight. Maybe hi pass slightly the bus if its sounding muddy Listen out for p...

I've heard people recommend UAD for dynamics/eq and powercore for reverbs / fx. had the powercore pci for a few years. mainly got it so I could run sony oxford eqs but these are now available natively. They are the nicest eqs I've heard. Sony inflator is deep, used sparingly it can add lovely warmth...

the bass is really quiet compared to the kicks. turning it up a few db's will help. can't really tell from the clip, but if the bass patch is lacking sub frequencies then use another source to play the sub notes (just use a sine wave) and take the existing bass, eq out the lower freq's and layer on ...

with a low pass filter opening and closing..

resampled...

playing a 5 note descending melody.

with all the bass and treble eq'd out, just leaving a notch around the mids...

:?:

ruff tune btw, thanks for reminding me
