good thread, interesting to read people's take on the interpretation of what 'dub' means in dubstep. i was always kind of unsure but i think it's definitely more than a reference to the dubplate culture. the way delay is used, offbeat reggae style chords, the tempo, choice of vocal samples etc. etc....

you can see it happening already, warehouse parties are sprining up all over east london every single weekend. squat/free/warehouse raves have been going down all over London for a long long time. sure, of course, but they've got way more frequent and/or public in the last few months i think.

It an out right ban. There are no loop holes. Noestablishent will be exempt. almost right but not quite. the only loophole is that a performer is allowed to smoke if it's part of their act. so basically pokes is going to have to smoke like a fucking trooper to make the air thick for the rest of us....
