Loving this album so far, been on repeat nonstop. I think the production is actually pretty great, and it sort of blows my mind that the album is an "electronic" album - does not sound like one thing in particular, just really well rounded imo. Enjoy.

Wish I had made it out. It is the hard, battering stuff that has kept me away, really. Love the minimal, headspacey stuff the most. Sorry to hear about the bad parking stuff, that sucks.

The Athens pic is of the cheerleaders, same ones in Beijing. They are fit and seem really up for it.

Interesting discussion. Even more so from a hotel room in Beijing at 1:15 am. I just went for a walk around the streets taking photos and talking to randome people who were out and about. Clearly my relationship with China is different from others on here, I can say that my time in China has changed...

The first set of fireworks were def for real, I was sitting next to one of the launchers in the city (next to the Bell Tower, where those people got stabbed the next morning). It was fantastic. Then, at midnight the entire city sky was filled with fireworks for a good 15 minutes. Don't believe the h...

No blinders here. Have lived here for years, actually in it. Sorry. Spent months in Tibet, and all that. I agree that there is some really bad stuff going down, but nothing worse than USA or UK or any other place, just more popular to critisize. I am glad that there is a dialogue about it, though, m...

Yep, that is sad about the stabbing, especially since it is extremely rare. Oh well, here comes a media field day. Best not to mention the whole Tibet thing until you have spent considerable time in Tibet, tbh. Otherwise you are just talking about some media shit that you have been spoon fed. Poor C...

Seriously. If we are pointing fingers at China, then lets point fingers at the foreign companies which invest in their economy which enables them to grow and the people who purchase those products (everyone in the world). We are all in this together, take some responsiblity, Goldie.

I am in Beijing for the games, and I watched the opening ceremony at a park with 5,000 people last night. It was awesome, for sure. Everyone is totally into it, so much feeling in the streets. I was with 2 journalist, and we certainly were NOT being followed, that is just so annoying to say. 10 year...

Bomb Squad and Public Enemy in Chicago last night

Last night was the first night of the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, with Public Enemy headlining. Before they came on Hank Shocklee and the Bomb Squad played a half hour of dubstep to warm up, and it was LARGE on the big festival system.

PE absolutely killed it.
