^ Careful with that, though. Sometimes, when you highpass percussive sounds, namely snares, the result will needlessly eat much more headroom than the sound you started with. I'm not entirely sure why this happens, but it's obnoxious. I can usually get around it with linear phase filtration/equiliz...

if i feel everything is balanced and mixed well amongst the other sounds, i just turn everything else down and let the drumz ride in the front of the mix a lil more. hard to tell what someone may need without specific examples but im willing to bet the problem is more in levels and or sound selectio...

Seattle dubstep is all but non existent at this point in time, once Shift ended there were no 100% dubstep events anymore. Its all multi genre shows now if you want dubstep at all and typically all bro. Trap is dominant right now and it seems jugle/footwork is making some waves and deeper dnb seems ...

the yes omg was sampled from a little girl doing stack cups in a video on youtube, he cut it himself...you should find them and cut them yourself as well. If you want risers and kickbombs and dopplers etc then perhaps there are some good sample packs out there for those but they can be recreated pr...

I wouldnt say I 'resample' im not making dubstep here LOL but I really like the sampled sound, so I will often make a chord or something, and then bounce it out to then sample it again, or yeah it is good sometimes if the resonance really make a note dirty at one frequency, so you then bounce that ...
