Monochrome - Lost Dubs 2006-2009 free download

Afternoon troops, long (!) time no post. Just uploaded 15 tracks of unreleased stuff, all free to download - most tracks were only ever heard at the Fortified nights in Glasgow, some have been on Soundcloud for a while, some have never been played outside my studio before. They were gathering virtua...

Re: 30 minutes of Monochrome

Big programme! Pain in the arse that it isn't on over here on any proper channel = lots of youtube watching, DVD buying etc. It's kind of good that it's not on TV though (apart from on FX) - DVD box set is the best way to enjoy it I reckon. There's now a gaping void in my life until season 5 airs.....

30 minutes of Monochrome

Here's an Ableton mix of six of my tracks, as heard at the Sub Club warming up for Benga a couple of weeks back: http://tomchurchill.com/audio/monochrome/monochrome_sampler_2007.mp3 All unreleased - feedback welcome! And Scottish crew hold tight for Triptych - Distance, Pinch, me and the mighty Grav...

Mmmmmm. RadioActive Man. Bet you had fun there. What set did you do - Broken set, electro or what? That was the dubstep set :) I was on early-ish (but luckily the club filled up early!), then residents plus another local live act, Sleepless Crew, joined the dots from dubstep to Radioactive Man's el...

Skream in Glasgow on Saturday

That was amazing! Big up Skream and Pokes for making the trek up. And good to see a few more heads there than there were for Mala last month. Dubstep is slowly but surely moving forward up here. Here's a dark n' distorted vid of the Request Line drop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKVzUpFoIwI And h...

Made a few posts already but never introduced myself on here - I'm Tom, originally from Cardiff but lived in London for five years before moving up to Glasgow four years ago. Been doing various musical things for the past decade but dubstep has been floating my boat in a big way for the past year or...

Rotation thing is a good idea - R Solution used to work well on Kiss with Kirk Degiorgio, 4hero and Phil Asher taking it in turns (although obviously not that well as it eventually got cancelled!). 1xtra really does need to get a dedicated show on the go...

Is that Tom from Headspace? Really enjoyed stuff on your label over the years chap. Yep, that's me - cheers! Think I'm calling it a day for a while now though, the Dan Curtin album will be the last release. It's too hard running a deep techno label these days and my musical interests have spread fa...

Great stuff - used to love his techno stuff too, 'Butterfly Skull' on Synewave is heavy and the Timeblind 'Vertical Disintegration' 12" on All Ears is dope too. Was wondering what happened to him, he did a track on the first release on my label back in 96 but not been in touch for years. Seems ...
