Lemme explain a bit: Clownsteppaz is the alias for 2 producers from Belgium to make fun of other music. The vox are sung in by themselves one wasted night. This isn't to be taken seriously at all. They actually made it as a shot at dubstep for being so slow.. (them being d&b producers).

Had a blast yesterday, summer vibes, chillin' outside. Heavy bass inside. And happy people all around.

Bigup Untitled and Bambu for bringing this one!

Talk to the people of African Dope. They can probably point you in the right direction. I've been there a few years back and as said: psytrance is big, but about everyone i talked to knew the geezers at AD - they're well known in the underground dance scene in Cape Town.

well here goes.. 1. learn how to make basslines. If you can't make melodies with you bass, you'll have to resort to clever programming. get a synth that allows to reroute LFO's to your filter cutoff and start playing with it. 2. Drums are the most important part. If they sound crap, the rest of your...

Oy, For the people who didn't know yet. I made a little archive-site for dubstep-mixes (mainly as an archive to the reload-radio sets) but on occasion i'll host other sets as well. For those curious about the name: Yes, i got it from one of N-Type's radio shows. You might consider it a tribute ;) Ch...

you can hand-draw the automation curves for the lfo-rates in your sequencer. I'm using cubase sx3 and there's this convenient tab: vst-instruments where you can do all the automation of any parameter of a synth.

cjpa - Hungover on DMZ

Made this track on the sunday-afternoon after DMZ. Was awake for more hours than i can count but still couldn't sleep and things flowed out pretty easily. Warning: No hardcore dubstep but there _is_ deep bass to be found.

Not a factual account, right? Fictional but based on the true life of Shimmen Miyamoto Musashi. Any reference to the Hagakure? No, but the historical Musashi wrote the: Book of Five Rings The 'Book of Five Rings' is about Zen, martial arts and the life as samurai in feudal Japan. There is also a ma...

also, if your bass is very heavy, EQ the lower freqs (everything lower than 20-25Hz) out, they take the most energy.

Reform - Stone.
I actually dream about that wobble. Coki - Tortured had the same effect a while ago. I hate it when you wake up with a bassline-stuck in your head because you know it's gonna follow you around the rest of the day.
