Try AnalogX AutoTune. Is free.

If a drum sound doesn't have anything like a fundamental frequency, ie is mostly 'noise', then you could try using a tuned filter with a little resonance to bring out a particular frequency.

Or, just listen.

Re: DSI Evolver Patches and Shared Ideas

In some cases, I have gotten close, but the sync is not right and the wub is more of a slap. Remember that the LFO 'Amount' settings go from 0-100 and then continue 1-100 again. The first range gives you free running LFOs, the second lot are synced to keypresses which is probably what you want. If ...

He's just standing down as an MP. I thought it was a good speech is all, someone talking some sense in Parliament. Plus he called the Queen a rasclaat which I thought would amuse da less royalist steppaz. ;) But seriously, some fine points raised in this speech about some of the key issues we all fa...

To avoid ground loops try and have all the items connected to the same mains circuit. Unless that's likely to overload your outlets obv. Also to avoid interference try to have audio cables running at right angles to power cables if they cross over - i.e. not parallel to each other. Most RCA cables a...

yeah, right? Whats interesting is that before we had the ability to view a whole waveform and "see" music, we would not have known this. Interesting how emerging and new technologies aid us in discoveries that we would have never dreamed of! http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/object/article?f=...

It's a big debate isn't it. As someone that grew up with sampling and hip-hop my first instinct is to think that all that preciousness is nonsense and everything should be up for grabs. And that talking about respecting 'other cultures' itself reinforces the idea that there are these divisions. But ...

Maybe your problem is static electricity? The alcohol should have evaporated anyway, and washing with distilled water would certainly do the trick. You can use warm (not hot) water and a little non harsh detergent (Ecover works OK, but fuck Group 4 ;)). Always rinse. Sounds like you did the right so...

OK, double slits. It runs a bit deeper. In a 'delayed choice quantum eraser' experiment: "[Yoon-Ho] Kim, et al., have shown that it is possible to delay the choice to "erase" the quantum information until after the photon has actually hit its target. Under those conditions an interfer...
