Naphta: Soundclash 1 (Grievous Angel Remix) Keysound LDN011
Soundclash is out now on Keysound Recordings LDN011 so I thought I'd give it a little thread of its own. 140bpm junglist garage. Big hook, big bass, big vocal. Destroys the dance every time. Proper tune. Best thing I've ever done. It's a remix of Irish jungle don Naphta's classic tune, Soundclash1. ...

Re: Dusk + Blackdown v Grievous Angel Margins Music Redux
I'd love to hear more from you on this tip man!!! huge tune! Yeah I'd like to do more junglist garage... there's a tune with Methodman and Ashante called stronger, might have sent you that? Really swinging darkside gear with similar sawtooth bassline, might have sent it to you a year ago...works in...

Re: Dusk + Blackdown v Grievous Angel Margins Music Redux
Margins Music Redux now sounds really FAT thanks to Transition. Really lush sound. It's a big deep spacious dub mix, all the tracks have been remixed, but it's still got all that lovely grit from the first version. Trim is sounding epic!
And Soundclash is out today
Biggest tune I've done so far.

Re: Any Logic Users Creating Dubstep? (what do you use?)
Es2 is awesome. Google es2 dubstep patches, think the link us on doa, lots of useful stuff in there.
Automate the lfo amount ftw
Exs24 for subs.
use mpc swing - find the files on logic cafe.
Layer up ulteabeat with exs24 drum kits for extra fatness.

Joker remix of The Heavy - How You Like Me Now
Joker's remixed this tune by The Heavy into this massive wonky blues extravaganza. Really good to hear what he can do with a vocal. Not as headfucky as digidesign say but very satisfying. Could have done with a dub mix though.

One whole year later... I just got this off John Eden who gave it a good review for Woofah and he pretty much hates dubstep, so it had to be good. But I ignored it... so stupid... Seriously, this record is one of the absolute classics of dubstep. 100% on it. the headhunter rmx is brilliant but sadly...

Uzul: Rumble Inna Station DT9 / Skream Remix
Top tune. Superior quality reggae-inspired wobble from Uzul and a simply gigantic filth-driven rerub by Skream. Probably the best big wobble tune around at the moment. I've had a good search around and couldn't find a thread about this release but it really deserves it. Out in September I think. Bun...
