Re: Who makes tunes in Linux then?

I've got to admit I never liked Ardour. Non-DAW and Non-Mixer are really interesting but not really my cup of tea. There's qtractor and Traverso as well which I've never tried. (Standard time line sequencers bore me.) I'm currently having the happiest music production time I've ever had using SuperC...

Re: Atmosphere!

record a room/retaurant/office/road/open space/river/turkey house and lay it on top of your track.

you'd be amazed how trippy your office will sound with a little reverb on it.

you're unlikely to regret it

I've got a trigger finger for sale. good as new. still got the box. it doesn't come with ableton live lite as installed it and i upgraded it to the full version. only reason i'm selling is i don't use drum pads much and have another set on my MicroKontrol. I found the thing very responsive, had no i...

you sort of can, freeze the track, duplicate the frozen midi clip and drag the dupliacte on to an audio track. it then does the conversion for you. marvelousness.

only found this out the other day and it's aving me more time than an a lot of other time saving things.

You've some how kept it really interesting even though you've used very few component however the track does dull towards the end, loses that sense of of things 'em...

easy owen, recognise most of this one! really like it. as stated by some other chap the intro is marvellous. really moody, love the clanky snares, bells, sort of reversed reverby delayish thing. all lovely. i felt the drop needed a little more impact and that the bass started out a little jerky soun...

this is long shot it sound's like you've probably checked it, in live 7 there's a little 'factory samples from library' button in the dialog you get to by clicking File -> 'Collect All and Save' . have you checked that?

me and a mate have had no trouble shifting tunes between ourselves.

i think anything will do. try a few and see if any just click with you. try and stick with one mind you. i fell in love with both ableton live and renoise, both totally different tools but capable of making a tune (in much the same way as anything else imo) and now it's :? every time i sit at my com...

check out renoise and geta copy of computer music

check out renoise. it's damn near free and although it looks hard to get your head round is probbaly the quickest way of building beats i've come across. i only bought ableton 7 recently and still find myself living in renoise instead. get a couple of COmputer Music magaazines as well if your in the...
