I lived in MK for 6 years. It is perhaps the squarest place I know.

If you can dent the hulking chavvy Oceana/Westwood culture, respect good sir.

To be honest I thought the last one was a bit patchy. This looks to be more of a full-on dubstep affair... me likes.

In fact, the people who are quick to label fellow music makers as unwelcome are the bad guys if anyone is.

The public knows what sounds good, anything else is just politics.

I honestly don't think there are "bad guys" with the kind of money being made at the moment. There are unoriginal guys, there are bandwagon jumpers sure... but nothing like corruption or ill-intention. It's all love here.

Bad record straight out of NYC.

TEAM SHADETEK all the way.
I see what you mean.

If you take the beats and the overall vibe you can make it grime... just think about the difference between UKG and UKHH. Subtle.

Best intro vid I've seen by far.... one for showing less musical mates who don't even know what dub is.

(before taking them to a club and troubling their chestplates  )

The danger with youth drama is that it tries too hard. Either to "keep it real" (meaning it ends up like a bad episode of Grange Hill) or to be "with it" (meaning it ends up like Skins).

Will definitely check it out though... can't be worse than Hollyoaks, eh? :P

Plenty of them in brighton Tom, maybe even on some volks nights. We'll have to post a rogue's gallery sometime.

Sadly I have to agree.

The thing about Grime is it's very, very British. It partly developed as a reaction against people apeing American Artists - there's no point doing the same back, it'll sound plain incongruent.

I'd still rather come across a K'd up dubstepper with crusty dreads than one of this lot.

I have to dissent... There should be more albums being made...if every producer was making choons just so they could get mixed in a DJ set then that would be dry. Memories Of The Future is up there with my favourite albums of any genre. I think it should be every Producer's ambition to complete an ...

My somewhat limited definition of it (and I know someone's gonna shoot me down and correct me) is that soca is to calypso as dancehall is to reggae. Faster, more upbeat and modern and influenced by a wide range of other genres internationally Agree with that. Neat way of putting it. What gets me st...
