Re: Matt Shadetek on Productivity "Production Speed Dating"

Also I did a 2 part video tutorial for dubspot about how to make dirty wobble bass in the ES2 synth in Logic. Even if you're not into wobble you shoul...

The dubstep scene was best when it was one person, in his mom's basement, listening to a sine wave on a gramophone horn and saying 'you've just got to hear it on a big system' to his cats. Eventually that sine wave got so many reloads (from himself) that he cut it on a wax cylinder and buried it in ...

And I'm just backing up my dude, I know whats it like getting criticized on forums and it's never a good look to defend yourself, so I chimed in ...

I do make grime, and have made 'real' grime tunes with Jammer, Skepta etc. I also produced Brooklyn Anthem which I'd say has a pretty stron claim to 'the first american grime record'. If you want to argue why I'd say it's because it's made by people who listen to grime, is 140 bpm and uses a one lin...

thanks to everyone listening and loving the mix, I had a lot of fun doing it. Tanya remix might come out with a vocal as well, working on that now, just gotta talk to Tanya's people about it and see what they're saying. Don't really wanna do more with it as a bootleg than this kinda radio/internet s...

I think it's great. The artists gets to buy new equipment, or food as the case may be, and the musical ideas get injected into the mainstream. Keep in mind, usually this is to license an EXISTING tune, so I don't see 'sell out-ism' on the radar. If they want a tune you already made for normal purpos...
