anyone else heard these guys? their first album grew on me BIG time, this second one that just came out is very sweet. excellent kinda lo-fi experimental rock, amazing vocals. i really can't fit them into any genre... hoping to see them tonight here in Toronto, but i gotta score a ticket off someone...

in the past it would auto-warp everything, optimized for beats, but now there are different settings for tones and whatnot... i find it you don't warp what doesn't need to be warped then the sound is fine. otherwise, if you're talking about the sound quality of the mix engine itself, i don't find it...

To be honest i don't use ableton for tune construction. I use logic. Cheers though :wink: aye.... but Live IS getting better for making tunes from scratch, almost good enough to ditch Logic. In fact, i could see myself using Live strictly for my dubstyle, Logic for other stuff. last track i did was...

...I surpose it help that i learnt the fundemantals os sequencing on an old Roland W30 syth with its built in sequencer. Oh the fun i had placing every note inderviduelly and not haveing drag and drop or copy and paste. aye, mate - Roland S-550 and MC-50 sequencer combo here myself. ooooold school....
