OK I got inspired after seeing the move Life and Debt to make this tune. Let me kow what you think about it. I also have no idea what genre this might fit in.

Nice work. I like the dark vibe, but it seems like its missing something. Maybe add a few more variations on the intruments, maybe a few more effects to add some falvor to its dark character.

Shonky good points man. Now that I am listen to it again I think there might be too much going on with the drums. The vocals being far back was intentional but I will try them up more in the mix. Nuff respect.

hmm, I never saw dubstep as a direct or indirect descendent of reggae whatsoever. One of many influences maybe, but that's as far as it goes. House (shock horror) is a closer and more direct 'root' leading to dubstep than reggae if you wanna trace back history. You don't need straight A's in histor...

I cant believe this. I have came accross so many so called producers who have know clue who people like King Tubby, Lee Perry are. 95% of what I do is done in Reason. The other 5% is done in Ableton Live. Why? Because Reason does not record external audio, I sample my own vocals and do Avant Garde Jazz stuff so I need Live for this purpose. Not to mention how well both these software work together. I find Reason extremely easy ...
