i wouldn't be surprised to see more dubstep at bellydancing performances in the near future. lol? no lol. tribal bellydancing, as opposed to cabaret, is known for many of its abstract beats. my girlfriend's instructor did a whole show to amon tobin's permutations, so i wouldnt underestimate the app...

my girlfriend bellydances and she does it a bit with drum n bass, but dubstep is at the perfect tempo, and the Eastern sounds don't exactly hurt the bellydancing vibe. i wouldn't be surprised to see more dubstep at bellydancing performances in the near future.
