hmm, I never saw dubstep as a direct or indirect descendent of reggae whatsoever. One of many influences maybe, but that's as far as it goes. House (shock horror) is a closer and more direct 'root' leading to dubstep than reggae if you wanna trace back history. really? maybe not as much with reggae...

subwoofer crossover

So my sub's amp has a crossover knob, with the frequency ranging from 40-160 hz. what is the ideal position for listening to dubstep tunes? around 80 hz sounds good but you have to turn the amp up a lot. thanks.
