I'm so glad I read this thread. Bored as hell at work and this has made me decide to rewatch a series of TPB.

DJ'd in Cambridge once. There was an imaginary Line down the middle of the venue. On one side there was insanely upper class twits with huge albino afros and bow ties. On the other there was bare knuckle fighting gypsy farmer types. Neither crossed the line.

Why you buying him a DJ mixer if he ain't DJing? If it's just to plug his stuff into get a Behringer Desk for about £100 which will have 2 seperate outs and better Eqs. Plus Phantom power and few other things.

I'm printing this out lots of times and handing them out at the beginning of my sets.

I had 2 really good years DJing twice a month at The End. Had some killer nights in the early days.

I did an apprenticeship in Printing but Hated printing. For some stupid reason I stuck it out so I'd have something to allways fall back on. I left as soon as I qualified and did some other shit. Trouble is I could never fall back on it now if I wanted to anyway as the technology has changed so much...
