Sounds awesome!!!

I've been in Vancouver now for 3 days, just arrived from the UK. Amazing city!!! It would be good to get involved in the scene here, meet with some producers/dj's, etc. I'm living just off the Drive, on East Pender. Anyone know of anything happening this way?

If not, maybe try ...

I'm about to buy the same system this week... how do you find it bro? Can it go loud enough to have a mix (dj) on too...?

They sound crisp, especially if you're used to headphones like I was. I've re-mixed all my tracks and they sound much better now when played at different volumes and on ...

Sub placement

Bought the Bluesky exo 2.1 system a while ago, but still not sure on the best placement for my sub. Yes..I have moved it around the room and tried it practically every position, in the middle, corners, random positions, but I don't think i'm getting the best out of it. I've also noticed a problem ...

Look into learning how to phase invert 2 tracks to extract an acapella.

These aren't music based, but good for those of you at work.

Mini Pool, probably the most simple, yet ultimately frustrating office game there is.

Also, try the online Risk type games. Especially good if there's a few of you in the office. Certainly made my ...

Having the same dilemma at the moment. Blue Sky's 2.1 or Tapco S5's. The advice i've been given is that if you're working with a genre that requires greater sub bass frequency accuracy then maybe a sub will do it. But for everyone who says it will theres someone who says it wont. Best advice seems ...

Awesome tracks. They're really busy, have you had a chance to play them out on a proper rig? If so, how did they sound? Quality production though, conversion clip is my favourite.

Heavy Track. Sounds like it could be tightened up a bit, maybe sounds a bit wet. Not a criticism though, just a matter of preference.

I'm at work aswell, also bored beyind belief. Perhaps that explains why I managed to write 150 words of complete irrelevance.

I would say that the advice I have always got is to minimise your compression on the sub, you'll lose the harmonics and it will end up sounding flat.

From a mastering for cd or vinyl point of view, the advice to me has always been to not compress, limit, maximase, normalise on ANY tracks. If it's completely essential then limit it to 1-2 dB max. That's assuming you're handing the track over to a proper engineer who knows his stuff.

Also, to make ...

I had a feeling Bailed Out was going to be a love it or hate it type track. Especially regarding the intro. Cheers for listening.

Heavy tune, the sample works well. Bass is really smooth, and I like the snap of the snare. Quality production all round.

Clock house dub has been removed.

I've done some more work on Attention, and there's a Baile Funk inspired track called Bailed Out.

All thoughts greatly appreciated.
