love it. Africa sessions are even stronger in my opinion. Someone else who also doesnt get enough props in my mind is Alice Coltrane (who died december of last year, just beginning a new tour). Spacey, surging, ecstatic music. I'll see if I can't find any songs from her "PTAH THE EL-DAOUD"...

This is a great loss, it is unbelievable how active he was until his death. What the media never forget to mention is his influence on hip-hop and R&B. I would suggest, however, that his legacy can be traced through to today's electronic music just as vividly. Ok, so the progression from hip-hop...

the awards are certainly rockist in their overall raison d'etre Roni Size(, DJ die and them )won the mercury prize for "New Forms" album. Admittedly, DnB was definatly not a new phenomenon at that point, and Goldie's Timeless was already a little dated. I think its too early for dubstep.

Check barefiles.com when its up, any of the Dubstep Allstar mixes, or...

Anyone remember that little circle by the bar during BengavsHatcha? Well hype!!! I think there should be some breakin' crus at FWD....
