Shonky is right; Dubstep is more geared toward the creation of NEW Riddems. Dancehall (as you know) is largely founded on referencing past and classic RIDDIMS, though Dubstep does follow a simillar path insofar as it is built on recycling and mutating classic SOUNDS.

i listen to a great deal of 'Ambient' music. A large amount of music i create would probably be considered 'Ambient'. Not trying to belittle anybodys personal taste, but i personally think Sasumu Yakota is one of the most overated producers i have encountered. He should just stick to formulaic House...

Representing for Brunswick? heh, that's where i grew up! respect to the North..... i am now residing in the Footscray ghetto, but i think i will relocate to Kyoto in 2007. Melbourne aint what it used to be (yeah, yeah, blah, blah).
