this is the stupid thing, people are too eager to define themselves by their musical taste and think having a hatred for T.I and others of that ilk makes them intelligent, or that by liking T.I they arent boring blah blah blah etc ...

Remember hearing a twisted tune with a sample from Sexy Beast (Ben Kingsley doing his front bottom monologue) with the most ridiculously stupid bassline after it. Almost fell over laughing in the shop. Didn't realise at the time quite how denigrated it was by the "serious" dnb people.
