Was the issue not so much with the needles than with how the decks were secured to the table ? I think that when he went to cue one deck, the other bounced (?) Yes, the decks were on tuna cans and rubber bands. However, some M-447s would've stood up to the vibrations better than the Shure white lab...

I just copied the left channel over the right in the noticeable chunk or two that this happened.
