It works absolutely fine for me, more reliably than RealPlayer, in fact! Sure, but the audio quality just isn't up to scratch, particularly for a show like MAH because the content is so bass-heavy. It's fine for your bland daytime pop, because the people listening to it probably don't care about th...

Hi mary anne, You've hit the nail on the head really - why would anyone listen to a low audio-quality player that you have to install a very poor piece of software for, that can only skip forward 5 or 15 minutes, can't rewind, crashes all the time and is only there for a week when you can get a perf...

Re: ** DOWNLOAD** Electronic Explorations - Week 004 - Vacci

don't be a fool. i know i'm right :) What do you want, a cookie? Even if you're right, and I don't know whether you are or not, do you not think Rob would buy the releases when they came out? Of course he would, he loves the music and doesn't want to see it die. Why do you think he's telling people...

I don't fuck around when it comes to tagging, cue, or bitrate... only the finest will do. This is something I'm taking very seriously. using scene mp3s and then re-encoding them to higher bitrate and mitch matching them and then uploading them in one single file added into that a mix is pretty lame...

Rotation aspect or not...essentially Radio 1 are telling us they'd prefer their WORLDWIDE product to be represented by a scene supported by a bunch of emo kids who decided they're gunna jump on the next fashion fad...I like the Klaxons and I like some electro but lets face it this new rave lark is ...

I've heard many, many Essential Mixes, and he's always been the same, chatting shit over all the best bits. However, there are several Essential Mixes that I consider to be in my 'top mixes I've ever heard' list, so for that reason I can let him off. Bear in mind as well that the guy is 47 next mont...

I don't think Tong doesn't like it - I would imagine he still holds the majority of the control over who appears on the EM every week. It's not as if dubstep is under-represented on Radio 1 really, so I can't see any reason for him to have Skream on unless he wanted him there. Although he did look l...

I was very dismissive of dubstep when I first heard it - I've always been a fan of higher tempo stuff - breaks, house, d+b etc. and I couldn't understand how something so slow could grab you - but when I heard Milanese's Mr. Bad Guy and some of Marlow's stuff that all changed.. I still wouldn't call...

If you like Milanese, then Boxcutter's experimental beats will surely tickle your fancy. Also check out Neil Landstrumm's dubstep releases. Thanks Ory, I have Boxcutter's album, it's a little bit too experimental for me, I prefer stuff that's more, erm, time-signature-friendly, if you know what I m...

Ok, disclaimer - if you like Tiesto, good for you - while I'm a big dance music fan, Tiesto epitomises everything wrong with dance music for me, but that's just me - like whatever you like!

Anyways... gonna check out D1 that you mentioned..

Heh, I don't mean trance as in Tiesto bullshite, I mean stuff with high lead-synths and a very mellow, kind of floaty aspect to dubstep. To be honest, the Larynx track is the only one I've heard that sounds like this so I can't give another example.

Hi there, Firstly, hello to everyone on the forum. I'm fairly new to dubstep but I've been listening to as much as possible over the last few weeks to try to get a feel for the whole genre - there's a lot of it that I'm not keen on but some real gems cropping up that I've been playing to death. I ab...
