Not new to the forum, but been away for a long time. Interest in Dubstep reduced , but not gone.
Got tickets for the DMZ 8th birthday, so listening to a bit more of the older dubstep at the mo. But enjoying some new stuff, youngsta's rinse shows mainly.

Re: FORENSICS - Dark Chapters Vol.1 [MIX]
I'm sure i will be set on a mission to regain the knowledge i had once upon a time. Just had some mad stuff happening recently, not even got my decks hooked up and i spend thousands on records back then. Did i notice an old Forensics (mcr) record on that Light the dark mix? i swear i recognise that ...

Re: FORENSICS - Dark Chapters Vol.1 [MIX]
Thanks for the welcome back.
Kinda over welmed though. Last i knew Magnetic man was in the charts, and i was being bombarded with terrible high pitch wobbles. Where should i turn my attention for the darker, 2-step, mellow or just real intelligent Dubstep?

Re: Shit claims to fame
I have shit secondary claims to fame.
My Dad once had a pint poured over his head by Billy Connolly in The Scotia Bar, Glasow.
Also in the same pub most likely, he played bongos with John Martyn.
I like the image of a mad pub where pouring beer over someone is a sign on friendship, and accepted.

Re: FORENSICS - Dark Chapters Vol.1 [MIX]
This is really nice Forensics. Thanks. Ive been away from Dubstep for a couple years, but i used to enjoy your mixes in like 2008/9. Back when people might confuse you with Forensics(mcr) lol. Do you have any place you have kept archives going back this far? Thanks in advance mate, Tommy Edit, didn'...

Naked Angels: The Lives and Literature of the Beat Generation Jack Kerouac is the fucking man. yeh, read on the road while is was on travels. lead to much drug consumption Indeed, his books can be overlooked as stories but there is alot more in there. Big Sur is my favourite, one of his most honest...

^^ I have read The truce and If This is a Man, and they are indeed moving reads. Made all the more by the fact he struggled with his experience the rest of his life, and eventually took his own life. "life in the undergrowth" was a great program, but by far the best the BBC have done is "The Blue Planet", Anything under water is more mysterious and intersting.

He had one good come back though, id have to watch the show again though to find it.
He annoyed me mostly,
"you should know, the amount of lobster you eat"
Ian Hislop is hardly a big enemy of the left, what a silly thing to say to him.

Re: 4'33
tomm, are you being sarcastic? sounds to me like you are. I really don't get it then, sounds very pointless. Ive known there can't be silence since i was 10, and i have buzzing in my ears like 25% of adults to remind me of this daily. Each to their own though, just need to know this isn't something ...
