if you feel its cheating or too easy try making your own break. make a funk beat, create multiple samples for each drum/cymbal/hat. When you listen to a break or any beat played with a real kit each hit is slightly different e.g each hit of the hihat will have a slightly different length & veloc...

Pro Tools isn't really suited to electronic music production in my opinion - it can be extremely powerful when you finally come to mix your tracks, but in terms of sequencing and MIDI... well, it's just not designed for it, really Precisely Also if you're on a PC don't overlook Sonar..... seriously...

32bit - you'll have less compatibility issues with xp

SP3 for 32bit XP makes better use of multicore processors but I personally havent had any problems with vista64. been using it for a while, its not crashed once, i aint had any problems with incompatible drivers for my studio gear, and only 2 bits of software i used to use dont work on it and in bot...
