I've been getting more into mixing lately as i've been trying to increase my musics sonic power. Noticing that some people state its better to drop frequecies out of a sound if they are not needed and boosting the ones that are needed. Or just boosting the ones that are needed and not lowering other...

In logic 8 i am getting pan automation and level automation on random audio tracks that show no such automation in the track. I have tried writing over it, deleting it, nothing works. You can't see it in the automation lanes but its there. Its freaking me out; can someone say ghost in the machine.

hot track, really digging the switch up on the bass. Keeps it real fresh. Some sort of cut up vocal would be a nice addition.
