EXCLUSIVE Music From Mike Slott/Dema/Blessings/Jay Prada

Yo. Posted this on the main forum but perhaps peeps over there don't know who these guys are! We hooked up with the LuckyMe collective in Glasgow to create a kind of cross-media collaboration for SUSOLOGY Magazine that would take in art, design, photography, film, words and, of course, tunes. http:/...

Cross-media collaboration from LuckyMe w/ FREE music.

Yo. We hooked up with the LuckyMe collective in Glasgow to create a kind of cross-media collaboration for SUSOLOGY Magazine that would take in art, design, photography, film, words and, of course, tunes. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3217/3097037317_2dc757bc0c.jpg Working with the LuckyMe co-founde...

Here's a Robert Henke (aka Monolake) interview I did.

Spoke to him a few months ago, though I tried to stay away from the Monolake works a little. He is a great man and has much to say about art, technology and its impact on music today. Hope you like it. http://www.suso.co.uk/susology/features/architect-of-art Also we got a Paul Morley feature on Damo...

Just learn the program. Reason is brilliant.

Andy Stott only uses Reason. Do his tunes sound naff? Er, no.

It's foolish to think that a change of program will improve your music.

Also, go to preferences and then edit your automation preferences. You can set things in there, like getting it to move automation data when moving regions, or getting it to ask you each time you do.

It is total gash, I agree. Why not make some people on here who really know their stuff moderators of the production forum? Take the load off you, and make it their job to end awful threads and pointless discussions. Time to be ruthless I think, 'cos at the moment this forum reads like a baby's guid...

What does it say when it crashes? Sounds to me like something else is causing the CPU to freeze.

I have always used Macs so would advise you against selling it, but that's just me. With 4GB of RAM with what you're running you should be absolutely fine.

Don't bother. If you ever take your tunes down to get mastered they'll ask for a clean mix with nothing on the master so you may as well get it sounding good as TeReKeTe says at source. Vintage Warmer might make it SOUND a little louder and more meaty, but I bet it will sound rank in on a proper sys...

Get any sound that works as a chord, play the relevant notes, but have it way down the scale, pitched right down a few octaves. Add a delay of sorts. Add a reverb with a long tail. Depending on the tune though you need to be careful with verbing up low frequencies. A stereo delay works well providin...

If you mean converting to midi files that retain the pitch and velocities etc then I think the only thing is Melodyne.

But it's fairly easy to extract the feel of an audio file in terms of note placement and arrangement using, say, Recycle and a sampler isn't it?
