Santa Barbara (on the coast in between LA and SF) Still going kinda strong... I guess? After having a heavy Brostep or Nostep attitude people are sort of coming around and getting into the deeper and more interesting vibes. Could be too late though, we are also experiencing what happens "when t...

Also If there is a generalization that all us Americans grew up listening to bands like Korn I have to speak up.. That was joke music, even in High School. But if someone would have told me 15 years down the road that this sort of thing would be happening .. I dunno. :cornlol: Funny how things...

Re: Old skool D'n'B & Jungle kills dubstep every time
Same shit different decade.. (or now even going on two) lol.. A lot of people are so blind to how much the two are pretty much the same music. It was always a Jungle thing for me from the mid 90's on, I played a lot of the Jump up stuff when it came out for parties but aomewheres around 2002 -2003 I...

Re: Anybody else get pissed off at people that only dj?
Plain and simple it is just easier to be a DJ these days.. and it's becoming increasingly popular. I'm usually a pretty cool head but honestly it does kind of get to me when I see 100 random DJ kids pop up over night and play rinsed out tunes back to back for a bunch of toddlers. I know I shouldn't ...

Re: Novation Launchpad (live dubstep performance)
Live is the way to go. I don't see why constructing your own loops and triggering them isn't considered "live".. just playing tunes in Ableton or whatever is pretty whack though IMO. In a day and age where just about every Tom and Dick is a digital DJ and soon even Harry can run beat match...

Re: My suggestions for anyone looking for a new computer atm
Thanks guys, Either or as far as brand name. I've been a PC guy through and through since the 80's TBH. Maybe a Mac is what I'm looking for..who knows? All I know is I want it to be able to handle multiple instances of anything and not go lame. Cubase, Ableton, Logic (Os permitting) I currently use ...

Wont using a sample turn out artifacts in a sampler if you don't use the same note constantly? In order to be able to bang out some kind of melody I prefer a synth,
