love dub and reggae! i love reggae more than dub but i really love both. and i think dubstep is losin' the dub... i love that technoish dubstep, don't really like that filthy dubstep, but i generally miss the dub ina dubstep. I think producers that come from the UK Garage background - they naturally wanna keep it under 140 cuz of the way they shuffle their drums. If you come from DNB, Crunk or Grime, you might have a tendency to wanna make it faster.
