Skreams Basslines

I can only imagine this forum gets bombarded with queries and topics about how to produce the many different type of basslines that feature in Dubstep, after all it is the key feature of most Dubstep. The info up in the sticky on Dubstep Production is A1 and taught me alot of good stuff when ...

I haven't been online in a few days and I only read how this thread evolved just there, firstly I didn't know so many Dubstep heads were of Techno origin, the majority of the ya'll seem to be and I think that can only be a good thing, secondly I read over one daft comment that said all techno was ...

I've had some warped stuff from boomkat before, but also lots of flat records. I haven't ordered from them in a while, but £50+ orders came in quite flimsy packaging if I recall. Guess it would be better if they were to bookend the vinyl using cardboard mailers and/or use stronger packaging, I'd ...

You and me both mate! I just hope minimal techno stays the fuck away from Dubstep.............It drove me away from 4/4 music altogether, for some reason alot of really talented techno producers seemed to want to make minimal and to be honest it irritates the bollox out of me, not to mention the ...

How many records do you own? and do you always buy from boomkat? if you own a shed full of records and always buy from the one shop the law of averages will give you a bogey record every now and then let 'em know about it and they should send you out a new one. If they don't blow the shop up

From Techno to Dubstep

I used to be a devout techno dj and all round lover of the music however as time has gone on techno and most other 4/4 styles of dance music have lost their fizz and character.
I am relatively new to Dubstep and Grime but am already converted, don't get me wrong I still enjoy and would play a bit of ...
