Cubase > Ableton > Fruity... It's more complicated than that though: Cubase is proper studio and has basically full capability in that sense and Ableton lacks some basics so I just avoid it because it annoys me BUT Ableton's sequencer and beat creation is a LOT nicer and more dynamic than Cubase's....

it's a word that can get very frustrating, because (for example...) going to a dubstep night expecting to hear one type of music, and having to put up with music you don't like at all, is less than enjoyable. does this really happen...?
