Dubstep itself is fairly progressive because it is progressing from grime and also jungle and dub. Wait 'till it gets more established before trying to be progressive else you fall into the pretentious category.

Listenin' in now, seems pretty safe so far.

What is involved in mixing...do you have to aquire dubplates with tracks on them and then mix them together and add basslines? What equipment is needed? It sounds pretty fun.

The bassline that kicks in at 10:43 is pure unholy awesome.
