A good set up someone showed me, was to output all of the individual drum outputs into a seperate 14:2 mixer, then add your effect (reverb, Dist ect) to the four send/return on the mixer. Then turn it into a combi and you have a nice quick easy setup for ya drums. Personally, I think the NNXT is ...

NI's Massive [Synth]

Native Instrument's "Massive" Soft Synth...

I'm having a blast with this... Any one else out there using? I've found tons of helpful demos/vids, just wondering if any of y'all have done anything with it? I think it's way powerful/dynamic, comments?

Just a lil' home mix I did using a lot of y'alls tracks. It's still a work in progress, just wanted some feedback on the mix. Not much experience mixin' all this bass- not sure if it sounds nasty or just my monitors... anyway- thanks all :)

well, depending on what you've bought thus far... buying a pre-built machine does have it's advantages. you can get a real decent machine for around $500 (around 245 GBP). So i guess my best advice would be to look at prices and specs carfuly, you may sometimes get a deal buying a packaged set-up ...

the garage/step breaks

been trying to get that garagy sound when making breaks , i've got the spacing, open/closed hats, snares, massive kicks, etc... just still don't have that hoppy garage sound, which in turns make my tunes feel more stepish in the end. right now a lot of my chunes are coming out sounding like sped up ...
