I write, produce and mix pretty much all my tracks with a spliff going or a pipe burning. I find there's no difference from when I'm sober, except my conception of time fucks up when I'm stoned. I can sit for hours without moving, suddenly "wake up" and realise I haven't eaten, drunk or taken a piss ...

I've been trying out a new approach to dubstep with more emphasis on groove and less on dirtyness and wobbly basslines. There are still plenty of bass though, and the inspiration from dub, but also from psytrance and minimal. And at last there's a buttload of percussion and shakers!

Dubstep bores the fuck outta me. I'll openly admit i dont listen or follow the scene in any way. It's getting worse than DNB and finding a good Dubstep tune for me personally like..... well you get my drift.


Honestly though i go in the Dubs room and listen about and hear the shittest generic ...

I want to point out that in electronic music, it is not only the melodies that create the atmosphere and the song, but it is in much higher proportion the sounds that are used. And that's what I like about electronic music in contrast to rock, classical, etc. where the soundscape is limited to the ...

Rusko takes wobble to new level. I admit wobble can get boring but it can also be unique and new.
Kromestar's Surgery is a good example. As is his track Teleport.
Too many reason wobbles and presets out there. Never mind them!

I like his other work, even "Round the World Girls", but this one is too cheesy

I can't stand the vocals, and what the fuck is up with the cheesy synthline? Sounds like some creepy latino house. The beat is powerless and boring, and again cheap and housey.
