Feelin this 1, its got nice deep feel to it. Sounds heavy on the sub.

in 5 years dubstep wont be called dubstep if we keep sub genreing everything.

Just like garage isnt called garage anymore, its bassline or funky or 4 to the floor or any of the 20 so names we now call it now.

You wont be laughing when the music you loved has been replaced with guttadub, or brostep ...

No need to complicate things, just get the beat matching down first. Their is no set formula for the eqs as every tune is differnt. You will find that some tunes simply dont work together and others go together like peaches and cream.

Just use your ears, and put the hours in. your not going to get ...

I dont like any peticular sub genre, i just like what i think sounds good. Plain & Simple :e:

Altought i do think its unesersary to just subgenre everything. Afterall dubstep is a subgenre all by itself, or have some of you forgotten UK Garage.

just foucus on the overall cleaness of your finished product, Not how loud it sounds. Thats is something alot of producers have had to focus on to achive a decent overall sound.

You can still use dark grimey sounds. Just dont go overboad with the volume

I will give this a go if i can come up with anything in time.

Theirs some nice ideas goin on in your tracks, Just the mix lets them down. I especially like the synth in your maria is stupid track.

I think you need to lay off the reverb, compressors & the maximisers a bit. To achive a better mixdown.

Nice work, really feelin this one.

Its not a bad tune. I especially like the drums even tho they are a blatant skank of Night. If it wasnt pendulum who made it i dont think it would get as much stick as it currently does.

Im not exactly a fan of pendulum but you gotta admit, they are talented. And their sound is very distinctive.

Its got a nice feel to it. But its a genre of its own @ 120bpm, pritty much unmixable unless to pitch it up like +15%
