Reason: Make a Renegade Terrorist bass?

I've listening to some old Prog Breaks from 2005 and there seems to be some bass that sounds like the bass from Renegade Terrorist but a lot more softer. I did hear it's two distorted/filtered sine waves but I cannot get anything near it.

Re: PUT YOUR WORKS-IN-PROGRESS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.

Here is a clip of my tune - http://www.zshare.net/audio/6751942951a624a3/ It sounded alright until I exported it and all of the sudden the mix sounds louder, as if my mixer levels are too high - also bass is a bit to harsh in the mids. I just installed XP after using Vista so maybe I need to look fo...

Compressing a kick?

I watched the El-B interview in CM months ago and from what I recall he was talking about putting a limiter on the top end and compressing the bottom so it squeezes the kick together, how would I do this?

It's not free but it is cheaper than Absynth and worth every single penny, I am gonna buy after Xmas. Sonic Charge - Synplant - there is nothing on the market like it and it's sooooo much fun to use. Re: new melodyne thing is gonna be mental...

I remember seeing this on YouTube last year I think, it's a fine piece of software - you think we could have our fave vocal track, the vocal is something that we always wanted to use, could we pretty much edit everything out and leave the vocal part?? That would be mental, kinda like my dream piece ...

Re: How to Make Burial Style Beats (Computer Music Guide)

I like the way that half of dubstep, including really respected producers, uses jerky halfstep beats and heavy bass, but noone accuses them of ripping off Loefah, but as soon as anyone talks about using a wonky garage beat they're a burial ripoff. Tbh, this entire style and all of its predecessors ...

Any cheap cans subtle for Dubstep/DnB?

I am on a mega budget now and since my son broke my last pair of phones I am looking for a new pair for around £30, is it possible to get a pair that offer enough accuracy for this price?

Are any of these any good?

I can't even be arsed to lug about CDs, that's why I went for the Cortex HDC3000 after trying in a shop, it's just perfect and better than some gear that's like 800 quid, stability wise.
