I just really don't like that kind of effect on vocals. It's something similar on 'Calm Down' isn't it? I can cope with it on that because I like the vocals, but it would sound better without that effect for me. Can someone educate me on what this autotuned business is about then? Anything like voco...

Tunes that took some time to work their thing on you

I'm talking about tunes that you've ended up feeling, but which you might not have been into at first, or which suddenly made sense to you after a while of hearing them.

For me, it occured to me that I like the beats on 'Fat Larry's Skank', but it took a while.

Yours?

Enjoyed that selection a lot.

'True Stories' by Krust suddenly made sense to me.

Will be there tonight.

There's something about the riff that I love- the way it's not overly inflated, but kind of tight-sounding and skeletal. Makes me brock out harder.

Layman producer's description there but that might make sense to someone :P

For those who don't know, seek out Burial's remix of 'Be True' by Commix. Probably my favourite Burial bit.

First impressions- I don't like it.

I particularly dislike the vocals. Too trancey or something.

I don't think it sounds much like Burial either.

The stream wasn't working for me on the day, so on the download.

I have a fair few of these tracks myself, so it's my sort of stuff.

While a lot of what has been said about grime and dubstep being influenced by its place of origin is real, i think that it can also become a tedious cliche which says as much about the poverty of imagination of journalists and producers as it does the relationship of certain music to their urban en...

Really like Toasty's vibes. 'The Knowledge' is one of my favourite dubstep tracks.
Look out for HALO007 in the shops soon.
This has 'On Something' on it.
