"Anyone know how i'll go about it? Soft Synths i usualy use are the Korg Legacy series and Cubase 4s Prologue, anyone know if i can use a vocoder alongside these".

Not really, but there's a new thread recently posted, called 'the basics of synth', you should start there.

Good Luck.

MicroKorg

Re: Live Dubstep

Just wondering if anyone knows of any live dubstep, i.e. incorporating live instruments into dubstep, like a performance. I would imagine it could yield some pretty interesting stuff, like live drummer, a laptop, sax, trumpet, vocals? Whatever works. Anybody know of people doing it out there?? :?: ...

saving in Ableton

Hi Farina, I use a slightly earlier version of Ableton than you but it should be the same... for what it's worth. Save your project in its own folder in a place on your hard drive that you designate for audio projects (desktop's ok, but its good to have a more formal system that suits your way of wo...

The cutlery draw in the kitchen yielded some good results, as did an old oil drum washed up on the banks of the thames when I hit it with a lump of wood! Also the sound of a broken escalator! Having a mini disc recorder is great for sourcing sounds & hits.
