I know Zed Bias did a version of "The Light" but don't know about this one. The Light is an incredible track - probably one of the best from the album - but nope. It's the SImon says remix I'm after. I used to have the mp3 cut from his set - wish I still had it to play - maybe job some me...

Simon Says Remix - Anybody shed some knowledge on this one?

Heard a remix of Pharoe Monch's Simon Says a couple of years ago, on a Kode9 mixtape. Never managed to get round to finding it properly - and now that I'm a bit more in to the DUbstep sound - I can't find evidence of it anywhere. Can anyone enlighten me as to who did it - and /or where I can get it?...

CHeers guys. The tempo comments - I'm not sure I should slow it down any further, it's sitting at 140 at the moment, and that's beginning to stretch the initial track a little too much. Getting some stretch marks at points. Might have to leave this one at the current tempo, and see if it can be clea...

Haha - thanks!

I presume this would be possible, by fulfilling the other 2 points, and maybe working in more of an intro/outro?

Nice One!!! I really like DeadPrez and HipHop is one of the most disgusting basslines ever and you did a good job with this one!!!! one point: for me, the vocal bits got too much reverb/hall (dunno what it is called) IMO you should leave it clear/original Thanks very much! I initially had it as jus...

HAHA - mental. I'm a new guy & just posted a remix of Dead Prez myself. Great minds and all that!

Very nice track - better than my version I recon. You've taken the initiative and sorted a different bassline. Good call.

I love that snare on Poisoned Tears - almost so much of a 'smash' it's 80s-like. Also - that eastern string/guitar sample is niiice!

The falling synth sound on Possesed' is pretty good. Love the pounding bass too.

Dead Prez - Hip Hop (DFRNT Dubmix) - UPDATED

Hi all... I present to you, what's turned out to be my first foray in to the world of Dubstep. I've been producing other genres for a while, and although I'd never call myself experienced, or good enough to be professional, I'd like to think I wasn't quite bottom of the pile either! Gonna spend the ...

Ach well. First post should be here I guess. I'm Alex. Been producing music for a few years now, been DJing a few more. Big in to music of all types. First encounter with Dubstep was Kode9 on a poster in DUndee - checked out his site, and liked the stuff, but it didn't tickle me at the time. Recentl...
