Anyone had much success with this sort of sound?
I'm not really sure how to approach it - is it mostly sample based or do you think these guys are just MIDI wizards?

Surprised no one's mentioned this, it was a staple link when people used to ask this question when I visited this forum a lot: http://blackdownsoundboy.blogspot.co.uk ... -jazz.html

Re: anyone tried the neusonik monitors?
http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm?itemId=131155817848 Last night someone showed me thus analogue delay for under 30 pounds that surprisingly sounds really nice. Can't wait to get one and get dubby Sorry for the dumb and potentially off topic question, but I just wondered, with the delay you posted, do you ne...

Re: BeatCamp - make a track in a day
Why the idea of a Tuna style night is playing on my mind...just getting together in a dive bar somewhere (or fuck, even round someone's pad if they've got the space), everyone brings their own tunes and some drink/smoke and just play & get feedback. Yeah that's exactly what these guys (big up e...

Re: Starting up a label...
Why dont you commission in a more well know name to do a remix of a track, rather than paying them upfront for one of their tunes or summat, I dont know much DnB but I've never really heard of paying up front for tracks, but i do know people pay someone to do a remix for them. It just sounded at fi...

Re: Starting up a label...
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I'm currently co-running a night that provides a platform for up and coming producers in Birmingham a chance to showcase their own music. I HAVE access to a decent amount of quality, locally produced music that I would love to provide a platform for... the issue i...

You don't state why you think a new label is needed in your area... ...I'm currently co-running a night that provides a platform for up and coming producers in Birmingham a chance to showcase their own music, and we recently ran the main stage all day at the Custard Factory for a big street art fes...

Re: "Kill them with positive vibes"
Yeah that's what I was saying, was pretty sure that was the original! Yeah I saw it was on that acapellas 12", it's out of stock and I kind of needed it asap though as it's for a Jungle war dub.. Might just be cheeky and rip it from the sample on Juno though seeing as that's all I need it for. ...

Re: "Kill them with positive vibes"
Sorry it wasn't that clear!
I'm looking for the actual sample... do you think that it's been sampled in that Sluggy Ranks tune then, rather than sampled from it?
Cheers for your help!

"Kill them with positive vibes"
Anyone got this vocal sample please? Been trying to find it online but I just can't track it down.
Original tune is Sluggy Ranks - Ghetto Youth Bust, so if anyone has the acapella for that too that would be amazing!
Thanks

Re: Starting up a label...
Cheers for the reply Riddles, I was thinking this... however, as I'm a nobody and this will be a fresh label with no reputation to go off, it might be difficult getting the artists I'd like to get involved on board with the idea... I know if I was an established artist, I'd be wary of handing over a...
