Used to think this based on what I read but compared them myself and the difference is barely noticeable with low to mid-range equipment.

I have these monitors, cheapest solution is to buy a mini-jack/jack to RCA cable (red & white) that you are able to pull apart the red and white cables. jack goes into laptop/soundcard....split the RCA so red goes to one speaker and white to the other. If you have the money spend more and go for...
