Yea fo sho.

Get and ear for sounds what sounds good, Timing on point, Transitions.
Like LBP said already structure and arrangement.
Semi crucial IMO

Wish i would have spent more time on the decks. Probally be way further in production than i am now.

Kinda unsure on how i feel about Live. Was really pumped on it, i feel now tho its somewhat pigeon holing me into making loops. Have a bunch of loops but no actual song construct. Control on it im really feeling. Just turn it on and everything auto maps to my controller as i add intruments or whatev...

Mostly Subcontactor for bass sounds.
NX samplers for top sounds.
Had a go at Malstrom a few times, wasnt really impressed.

Using Z3ta and Zerba2 ATM
Don't really like the modulation on Z3ta in comparasion to others, bass sounds are on point so using it anyways.

NP E Get what your sayin, you just missed my point. A decent Hook on Rinsed sounds does not make a big toon. Or worse a decent Hook, on poor sound processing is gonna sound like garbage. Now a decent hook on new sounds, no one has ever heard. On a big system. Like WTF, Face Melt! Gone Mental You hea...

@ Boyd Concerning Beattles, If you listen to there Demo's there toons are very rough. Sound nothing like the finished versions. You can thank George Martin producer and Jeoff Emerick Sound egineering. For making the Beattle the cutting edge sound they came out with then and the Legend they are today.

He goes on to say, the house peeps were more than willing to show technics in sound. How to make this or that ect. Can't sourc...

Skeam, Benga and Rusko

Sure as hell questioned why.

I would go as far to say, that various peeps showed them production
secrets along the way.

Or they could have figured it out all on there own.

Cause Skream, Benga and Rusko sure as hell ain't talkin.

Experiment

Toon run though hi end sound processing

VS

Toon run through Farts and OJ.

Can a Big Big Toon be produced in both??

Cause anyone can come up with decent hooks...

I sorta relate the people who buy stuff from them without considering the effect it has. As the same people who are way to pumped on buying diamonds, knowing full well the genocide i...
