Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

@oprs I'd bring up the drums a bit in the mix. Also, maybe high pass the drums that are not the standard kick and snare, the doo dads, if you know what I mean. The synth that comes in at around 1:24 takes over a little bit, maybe that's the purpose, but I'd still probably tone it down somehow. Lower...

Vaiken did you mean my death's door tune changes after 2.30? cos the hats do speed up around them but I introduce another instrument (kinda a bass with high elements too) as well. Can't really say I thought that much was different at 2.30 in Dina Saws (second drop) than the first drop. No, it's the...

I've been working on a few tunes the past month, but this one I'm not getting anywhere with. I seem to always have a hard time getting the last 10% done. I think I'll give this tune one last session...

Thanks for the feedback! Gonna think about all your points and take the with me on the next session. The tune has been that way for a month now, time to finish it. paravrais I just listened to dina saws a few times. Like it! For me it's missing some clarity in the mix... I felt like it kinda stepped...

If cutting frequencies is what you're after, isn't eq three a pretty good one? I use eq three for lowpassing/highpassing

I have a bad habit of just making a lot of short starts...planning to decide later if I should finish them. It happens very rarely that I go back to any of them and arrange them properly. I will definitely take this tip and try to make every new tune as much of a finished track as possible in the f...

If you're using mac I can recommend a nice tool called "super duper". I've got mine set up to synchronize my hd with an external drive every night. If anything happens I can boot from the external drive and dump it back to a new hd. I used to copy shit to dvd's and external drives, but I a...

Nice track.

The mix is a bit...messy in the lower frequencies, in my opinion.
And the same thing as I'm trying to start working more with myself: variations with automation. always does a lot to a track...makes it feel more alive.
As I said, my opinion, but I'm definitely no expert.

Keep it up

I'd really love some feedback on this tune. I know I need to get the mix sorted out...but still, I'd really appreciate some good feedback regarding...any aspect of the tune.
