Re: trying to find james bond sound effects

It's probably a sampled recording of a small hammer on a sheet of metal. Try the soundtracks to Goldeneye and Leon if you wanna sample one.

Re: Movie Question

Also, wouldn't it be awesome if that became a standard feature on movies? "What do you want to watch, original, commentary or scoreless?" I'd buy that edition of Blade Runner, Robocop, Dawn of the Dead, Terminator, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Apocalypse Now, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factor...

Movie Question

Are there any full-length films with dialogue and fx and either:
-No music
or better yet
-The option to watch with no music. (ie: scoreless audio track on DVD)

I'd like to score a film. It'd be a challenge.

There are some colossal amounts of DX7 patches on Yahoo Groups, a great way to get going again.

Having said that, though it's my favourite sounding synth (so very Megadrivey), my DX200 gets next to no use in anything practical...

Dubstep is a genre of electronic music. It arose in the UK and is regarded as the most widespread of the 'post-garage' genres, perhaps listened to more widely than all other derivations of UK garage put together. Its central characteristics are as follows: Rhythm: All dubstep records can be describe...

lowpass: there's a distinct possibility that you're less dumb than me, but I found out recently that nearly all of the factors muddying up my mix were down to volume and not EQ. This thread sorted me out:
