Tbh if you're making music under I.Dot and didn't get the soundcloud name its your own fault someone else took it. I assume he doesn't know you and didn't mean to copy your name. Even if you wasn't going to use it why didn't you register the soundcloud? 5 or 6 years of making music under that alias...

I remember an issue a friend of mine had, basically if you can prove (ie released) something first, you should get legal dibs on the name. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean the other guy will stop using the name...but should at one time a legal procedure occur you should be safe. Ok, sounds logical....

Get ur name copyrighted. Other than that there's nothing u can do except be the better producer. There are thousands of people that produce under a name that is being shared by others.
