Maybe Windows 8 is a bit more CPU and RAM intensive than, say, XP. We run XP on Parallels with FL and it runs perfect. Try using a more "basic" operating system and see fi that helps

One thing I would say, as good as the "drive" is on that Schaack, if you use it too much to compensate for the adjusted volume, it can really take away a lot of the "character" of the audio you're using, i.e, the kick will loose some weight. I would first try to see if lowing the...
