true but its easier to impress consumers than other producers, like you could have the same loop over and over with a few dropouts/breakdowns here and there and they would be none the wiser..a producer however would notice the lack of variation

What is your main musical background/genre?

Ok, I know this is a tricky one to answer because we all like many types of music...

However I can say that I started off with Hip-hop, moved to grime then moved to dubstep, so you could say I am a hip-hop dubstepper...

I also know there are people comin into dubstep from D&B, techno, dance etc ...

I used to be your average music consumer, and never fully understood music production, I didn't even know what reverb was (I think this is still true with 90% consumers out there).

yeah i know, its just seems quite new to me, when i first heard it i was like wow, because it doesn't have the repetitive structure of techno music, it is more interesting to listen to imo, and the basslines are more massive than anything else

How old is dubstep?

I mean this new wave of dubstep im hearing...I am new to this, never really been into Drum and Bass at all, I have always listened to Hip-Hop, then moved to grime because I prefer Uk music plus i live here, and from grime got introduced to Dubstep through plastician...damn if I knew this music form ...
