@Krypto You also forgot to mention any feedback for anyone else. This is a feedback thread after all, or did you not read the first post? @ETRO Same to you homie. Get with it, no one will feedback you if you can't take 5 minutes to listen to something and post some advice or an honest critique. FYI...

Re: Can't decide between a Focusrite Liquidmix, or KRK Room

yet another +1 for room treatment. Owens-Corning 703 is your friend. Thanks for the tip, looking into it. Currently i'm working in my bedroom, as i can't afford studio space. Lots of room obstacles, random instruments everywhere, bed, and things of the like. Definitely going with room treatment, fo...

Can't decide between a Focusrite Liquidmix, or KRK Room Corr

Just what the title says. I'm thinking my mixdowns would love me if i bought the ERGO room correction system, but also think i would love me if i just bought the liquidmix desktop compressor dealiemabob too. Help me decide on my next purchase!!! both of these go between 500-600 bones, so not a big d...

Re: Drum Rack Sounds Weak

I have no idea why the volume always sets to -12db automatically but it's not what you want. I thought that when I first started too, however, once you start learning about gain-staging, you will see why this is the default - definitely read the moneyshot thread, you will get a lot out of it. That ...

Re: Drum Rack Sounds Weak

FUCK the drum rack Drag your audio samples into their own channels in arrangement view... besides adding a bunch of one shots to your arrangement it simplifies things. But it really doesn't make your drums sound any good does it? Dude in fairness after you have added eq/comp/'verb and any other eff...

Re: Want professional advice for your music?

I love that when you asked for examples of music by customers, OP posted an example of her personal production.
Is that a misunderstanding, or is that just plain sketchy? DISCUSS

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- OCTOBER 2010

@Krave First thing i hear is sidechain is really heavy and pardon me for saying but maybe a bit sloppy on the ADSR. tighten it up and it will be so much more powerful. if you know your math it should be easy. vocal is really sweet, and i'm digging the super left field type wonky synth-focused stuff....

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for OCTOBER, 2010

amphibian - rhythm caught me off guard when the kick came in, which is a good thing. Keeps my ears 'on their toes' so to speak. drop is heavy and deep, not at all too distorted and i'm loving that you got the gritty feel without the gritty noise. keep working on this, wobbles are dooope stebrah - on...
