Cheers everyone, I shall go and do some eDigging and find out more. What about Kraken? I've liked everything they've put out so far. On a completely other note, I can't stop hammering Skream - Lemon and Babylon System - Examination of Time. I know EOT is on Argon, what is Lemon coming out on? Or is ...

Favourite labels?

Although I'm fairly well versed with the likes of Dub Police, Tempa and Argon as big labels, I'm not so clued up on the smaller outfits out there. So I suppose the question is, what are your favourite labels, be it big or small? Good opportunity to see if I've missed out on any gems. Thanking you fo...

Does anyone remember what Youngsta's last tune was? Only ask because it actually made me want to unleash hell it was that evil, loved it. Thought it was a good night, good crowd there for the event and the music and not a hint of aggro. Youngsta and Skream were the highlights for me, Sukh Knight pla...

It has a lot of similarities to broken beat in terms of sound and producers but the one distinguishing factor is the 4/4 beat I suppose. It mostly arose out of the lack of a "garage" sound - for the more soulful types the main type of electro and fanky house was too alienating, and that's ...

Bassline & Niche are essentially the same thing. Not quite dark 4/4 as in the Narrows style, but very close to what grime would be if you sped it up and forced it over a 4/4 pattern - lots of string stabs, gliding square synths, crunching basses. The vocals are generally R&B take offs or ver...

I would suggest going to their MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/krakenrecordings) and asking them direct, they might be able to point you the right way. Failing that ST Recordings distributed it so they might be able to.

I know it was a limited press tho.
