I'm amazed to see someone actually coming out and trying to slag off Transition, are you mental? Jason and his team have dubstep mastering on lock. Now, if the label THEN doesn't want to spend the money taking that master and getting it pressed at a good pressing factory, on good quality vinyl, that ...

The PP system has more than enough wattage, just for some reason it doesn't seem to be able to hit much under about 38Hz... For the record, as far as I know Breakage holds the title for lowest bass note in jungle AND dubstep... madness

I've ran into some people who say they low pass at 40 hz even. Although they might be using a 36 db slope rather than a harsh 48 or something. Who knows. But basically all you are achieving at frequencies lower than 30 - 40 is the ability on a rare system to shake some trousers (as macc was ...

This diagram is a frequency response curve for a speaker, based on a constant input. As you can see at the left end, the speaker reproduces lower frequencies, but the level at which it is able to reduces as the frequency approaches ...

Pro Tools isn't really suited to electronic music production in my opinion - it can be extremely powerful when you finally come to mix your tracks, but in terms of sequencing and MIDI... well, it's just not designed for it, really

Most breakcore does my head in, seems to be split into two camps:

1. Breakcore which is basically gabba with the odd break thrown in at 129038012938bpm in between distorted kicks
2. Breakcore that cuts Amens up into sheer ridiculousness, with a giant sine sub thrown in for good measure
